Thing that is annoying Shane today
All the Android folks congratulating themselves for finally surpassing The iPhone as the number one mobile operating system in the US. Impressive, but there are like 80 Android phones on each network and still only one iPhone on one network.
It’s simple math people. Of course there are more. If Apple ever decides to open to other networks besides AT&T, that will change. Here’s why: Android is far too fragmented and each implementation lacks consistency. So if I wanted to move from my Hero to the Droid X, the experience would be totally different. And both experiences would not be nearly as good as the experience on an iOS device.
I have used Android, iOS, webOS and Blackberry. NOTHING — and I mean NOTHING — is as good as the iOS. (And I swear if anyone mentions the antennagate stuff, I reserve the right to shove my Android phone where the sun doesn’t shine the next time I drop a call.)
Also annoying me? People who hate on Apple without having ever used their products besides an iPod.
