Jónsi: Go Do
I feel like I’ve been in a lull lately and I’m not sure why. It might be the suffocating heat that makes me feel sluggish and uninspired (I’m like the opposite of those people who get Seasonal Affective Disorder in the Winter…I hate summer).
This morning I got a pick-me-up courtesy of one of my favorite albums of the year, Sigur Rós frontman Jónsi’s “Go”, which kicks off with this song, “Go Do”.
The lyrics inspired me this morning and I wanted to share them.
Go sing, too loud
Make your voice break- Sing it out
Go scream, do shout
Make an earthquake…You wish fire would die and turn colder
You wish young eyes could see you grow older
We should always know that we can do anything
Have a great day!
